Application Of Conjunction Analysis And Compensatory Strategies In Translation

Therefore, it is essential to analyze the logic within the source text. The commentary analyzes examples from the source text from the conjunction perspective, and then applies compensatory strategies in translation so that the logic of the source text and the proper usage of the target text language will be retained.The commentary analyzes three types of examples with J. R. Martin and David Rose’s conjunction analysis method. The first type is exposition, which contains tight logic. In the examples, the author adds otherwise implicit conjunction to explicit conjunction, and shows the construction of logical relations with a graph and that this is the way the argument is supported. The second is narration with implicit conjunction, which the author points out in the analysis to clarify the logic.
