This research uses the parenting correctional way scale, personality trait scal e and children security scale on, which investigates 280 fifth grade students(mal e 139 name, female 141 name) of two public primary schools in Jinshan district. I t tests on collected data through independent samples, variance analysis, correlat ion analysis and regression analysis, and other methods of analysis, by which ana lyze the relationship between parenting correctional way, personality traits and ch ildren security, to provide a reference of education and teaching for parents of th e two schools.Results show that:1. In the aspect of parenting style, father’s punishment and severe has signifi cant differences in children’s gender and whether they are singleton children; fath er’s refusal, denial and excessive protection has significant differences in whether they are singleton children; father’s emotional warmth and understanding has sig nificant differences in whether the parents are divorced.2. In terms of personality traits, gentleness in father’s culture has significant difference. It reflects that fathers who have a University(College) degree have m ore gentleness than those who have a high school(secondary school) degree. Rig orous self-discipline has significant difference in father culture and father’s occup ation. It shows that fathers who have a University(College) degree are more selfdiscipline than those who have a high school(secondary school) degree, mother’s whose occupation are intellectual rigorous are more self-discipline than those of merchants, and merchants are more self-discipline than that of workers.3. Parenting styles have predicted effects on children’s sense of security and personality traits.4. personality plays a totally mediating role in parenting styles and personali ty traits, and only in the effects of personality traits do rigorous self-discipline an d neuroticism play a mediating role.
