A Study Of The Charging Contract In Huizhou Since The Ming And Qing Dynasties

Since the 1950s, the Huizhou documents get massive discovery, which contains a large number of unearthed in charging contracts. These charging contracts are spontaneously preserved by the villagers in the Huizhou area, are realistic and original credentials of the local land transaction, with a large amount of information, which provides abundant and first-hand information for our study of the folk trade in Huizhou area. This paper main focus on the five series of 50 volumes of Huizhou Documents by Boshan Liu, taking a systematic study in the charging contracts and finding the deep reason of frequently land transfer in Huizhou area since Ming and Qing Dynasties.The introduction of this paper is mainly conducting a comprehensive carding and investigation of academic history about the charging contract, provide profound academic background of the Huizhou charging contracts later. As far as it goes, the academic circles study the charging contracts widely, but the systematic and comprehensive study in Huizhou charging contracts is inadequate. Given the situation, This paper try to study.This text mainly divides into four chapters. The first chapter:the first section is mainly to sort and analysis the Huizhou charging contracts from the published documents, and introducing the situation of the charging contracts in Huizhou Documents by Mr Liu. Then in the second section of this chapter, the author conducts a classified study about the charging and trade characters of the contracts in Huizhou Documents, and makes every effort to restore the original charging, to analysis the another side about the folk trade in Huizhou area.The second chapter:the first section mainly discusses each factor of the Huizhou charging conducts, such as the parties, the intermediary agent, the trades, the reason, the price and responsibilities, etc. thus to have a further understanding of the components in Huizhou contracts. The second section is mainly to analyze the features of the Huizhou charging such as continuity and high frequency, reveal the significance of the Huizhou charging contracts from other side.The third chapter:the first section mainly analyzes the causes the formation of Huizhou contracts from the social historical, buyers and sellers personal factors. And the second section mainly illustrates the rationality of the existence of Huizhou charging contracts, and from two aspects of positive and negative influence on Huizhou contracts in-depth analysis.
