On the problem of the development of Marx’s philosophy, "Economic & Philosophic Manuscripts of 1884" is of great importance. In this period, Marx’s realm of philosophy occurred a turning point. Marx gradually casted off the influence of Hegel even Feuerbach, from metaphysics to materialism, and he developed his new philosophy:historical materialism. This turning point had great relation to the critique of Hegel’s dialectics. In "Economic & Philosophic Manuscripts of 1884", through the critique of Hegel, Marx radically criticized the general metaphysics, which open the way for his revolution of philosophy. On one way the critique of Hegelian dialectics shares the same foundation with the critique of economic, on the other way the contradiction of dialectic itself leads to its essence:nihilism. In addition, in "Economic & Philosophic Manuscripts of 1884", Marx’s attitude of dialectics was deeply related to his attitude of Feuerbach. Although Marx was in the influence of Feuerbach at that time as a whole, there were some divergences between them. On one hand, the critique of dialectics followed Feuerbach’s critique, which dialectic, in its essence, is some way of speculative theology. On the other hand, dialectic reveals something different with Feuerbach’s philosophy, for example, the rule of society and history. These divergences indicate the revolution of Marx’s revolution of philosophy of existence and have a clearer and more explicit representation in Marx’s late works such as "Theses of Feuerbach" and "the German ideology"...
