"Realistic Individual" In The Horizon Of Marx's Historical Materialism

"Realistic individual" is the one of the most important concepts in Marx's Historical Materialism and the key to understanding Historical Materialism. However, academic circles have not given enough attention to the concept. They always think that Marx's Historical Materialism is focused on the human society, the masses and material production mode but not "Realistic individual". This understanding of the Historical Materialism of Marx, if not intentional distort, at least, is also a kind of serious misread. In fact, "Realistic individual" is not only the starting point and the foothold of Marx's Historical Materialism, but also the mainline of Marx's Historical Materialism. This thesis is to be based on the analysis of the Marx's the philosophical textst to demonstrates the truth, so as to arouse to the concept of academic attention.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part explores the formation process of the concept of Marx's "Realistic individual" from the Angle of the development history, and points out that the construction of the concept of "Realistic individual" bases on the concept of "self-consciousness" and "real people".The second part explains the concept of Marx's "Realistic individual" according to the German ideology this classic text, and points out the "the essence of life" and "perceptual activities"and "material living conditions" are the connotation of the concept of "Realistic individual". Life is the whole existence foundation of "Realistic individual"; Perceptual activities is the intrinsic regulation of "realistic individual"; Material living conditions is the external nature regulation of "Realistic individual", and the three are closely linked.The third part through the analysis of Marx four classic proposition:" The first premise of the human history is undoubtedly a life of personal being" and "Social structure and countries are always from certain individual's process of life" and "people's social history will always be their individual development history" and "the free development of each is all people freedom of the developing condition" indicates that "realistic individual" is the starting point of Marx's historical research, social morphology theory and the main the ultimate materialism. From the above analysis concludes that "reality eradicating the personal" is one of the basic Marx's Historical Materialism.The fourth part analyses the reality of the great cause of enlightenment of the concept of Marx "realistic individual" building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
