Decision making is a high level cognitive activity. It is affected by the human information processing ability, and it also affected by people’s emotion. When people make decisions, they always based on their feelings of the event.Specifically, when people make a decision, they believe that this decision will give them more pleasant experience. However, a large number of studies show that people often make mistakes when they predict future events on how much pleasure or unpleasant that bring to them, especially they often overestimate the intensity of emotion that future events bring to them. This tendency of the overestimating intensity in emotional response is known as impact bias.Group identity is the awareness of one’s identity, and group identity has significant effect on group behavior. As a result, group decision making as a kind of group behavior will be affected by group identity, and if group will identity affect the impact bias of the group decision or not.Studies of individual level found that belief will influence bias, group efficacy refers to the beliefs held by individuals on the group, and it means the team can successfully perform the task. Will Group efficacy as a group belief effect the bias in group decision making? In this study, we design two trials. Each trail adopts different methods in order to priming group efficacy and group identity level. In response to the group task, the participants were given two kinds of feedback, including positive feedback and negative feedback. Combined with the questionnaire and scales, in order to investigate whether the bias exists in group decision making, and to explore that if the group efficacy and group identity influence the bias in group decision making.Further more, to explore the impact of feedback on the bias in group decision making, group identity will affect the bias in affective foresting have interactive effects. In this study, we experiment the data with t test, ANOVA and other statistical methods, the results of the study are as follows:(1)Impact bias exist in group decision making. With positive feedback and negative feedback, people underestimate the emotional experience of future events.(2)The influence of group efficacy on the bias in group decision making is obvious.Under the condition of group efficacy in low level, the intensity of the bias is stronger than that under the condition of group efficacy in high level. The negative feedback is more likely to affect the bias. The effect of group efficacy and feedback on the bias in group decision making is not interactive.(3)Group identity affects the bias in group decision making.Bias exists in the group decision-making in different group identity priming.Under the condition of group identity in low level, the intensity of the bias is stronger than that under the condition of group identity in high level.Negative feedback is more likely to affect the bias. The effect of group identity and feedback on the bias in group decision making is not interactive.
