In real life, people will face a variety of decisions. As the Decision task becomes more difficult, group decision-making becomes a hot topic for people to study.People often make decisions based on the consideration of the emotional prediction of events.Motivated information processing theory showed that information processing is influenced by epistemic motivation and social motivation,so epistemic motivation and social motivation as a driving factor of information processing, whether they affect the emotional prediction bias in group decision-making needs further study.Sharing information refers to the information shared by the members of the group.Motivated information processing theory showed that sharing information is dominant in the discussion, rather than no-sharing information is rarely mentioned in the discussion,so it is necessary to explore the influence of the shared information on emotional prediction bias.In experiment one,102 people were randomized into 34 groups, and high epistemic motivation and low epistemic motivation were started through low time pressure and high time pressure, and the influence of epistemic motivation on emotional prediction bias in group decision-making was explored;Randomly divided into 37 groups, the starting method was the same as that of the experiment one.Based on experiment one,the variable of sharing information was added. The shared information was based on the number of shared information mentioned in the discussion of the group members.Experiment three randomly composed 102 people, they are devided into 34 groups. The groups, which reward individual and decision-making reward groups through decision-making results, respectively initiate self-motivation and pro-social motivation, and explore the impact of social motivation on the emotional prediction bias in group decision-making.In experiment four,129 people were randomly divided into 43 groups, based on experiment three. The variable for sharing information is added, and the sharing information is based on the quantity of the shared information mentioned by the group members in the discussion. Each group completed the group decision task under different starting conditions.Through statistics and analysis of data, the following conclusions are drawn.Epistemic motivation affects the affective forecasting bias in group decision-making.The affective forecasting bias of high-epistemic motivation group is significantly lower than that of low-epistemic motivation group.Sharing information plays an intermediary role in recognizing motivation and affective forecasting bias in group decision-making.Social motivation affects the affective forecasting bias in group decision-making.The affective forecasting bias of pro-social motivation group is significantly lower than that of self-motivated motivation group.Sharing information plays an intermediary role in social motivation and affective forecasting bias in group decision-making.
