On Essaylization Of Guo Xiaodong’s Fiction

Guo Xiaodong is a stupendously and innovative whose persistence on novel writing is tentative and revolutionary. In literary creation, he has broken the stylish boundary to seek a freedom way to write. He has made a breakthrough of the traditional plot and logic narrative mode, mixed the prose way of writing and paid more attention to the expression of emotion and construction of atmosphere, which made his novel creation full of spiritual and philosophic thinking.This thesis mainly takes text as analysis object to discuss the prosaic tendency in Guo Xiaodong’s novels. The prose character in his text can be summed up to 3 points. First, by fragmented narrative feature, Guo Xiaodong abandoned the traditional linear narrative mode to weaken the plot, and then laid stress on the grasping of spiritual culture of the works.Second feature is the poetic construction of novel text. By memories, philosophic thinking and image analysis, Guo Xiaodong realized his poetic structure. The last but not the least, the prosaic image description of the novels. This chapter concluded the construction of Guo Xiaodong’s prosaic image by situation, detail and rhythm of language.
