To adapt to the requirement of national opening to the world, college English teaching bears the duty to cultivate the talents with internatioanl vision, familiar with international rules, participating in the internatinal affairs and the international competition expertly. As the main battlefield of English teaching activities, college English classroom is a completed and dynamic system constituted by the elements of students, teachers and the teaching environment which are interconnected and indepentent with each other.Based on the Dynamic Systems Theory, this thesis describes and summarizes the realistic problems of the college English classroom teaching by using the research methods such as survey interviews and classroom observations. The realistic problesms are embodied in disharmony of the structural elements and malajustment of the systematic function, which are reflected in disorder of system structural component proportion, the harmonic loss between the components and imbalance of the system development, which impair optimization, coordination and promotion of the teaching system. On the basis of in-depth explanation of the related concepts in Dynamic Systems Theory, this thesis analyzes the reasons why structual disharmony and functional maladjustment in the college English classroom teaching system, transforms paradigm of “knowledge focus course” into paradigm of “humanistic construction focus course”, constructs the model of dynamic and harmonious college English classroom teaching from the aspects of construction principles, paths and specific strategies and measures. Concrete strategies include: the innovation of college English teaching concept, creating multi-dimensional interactive teaching environment, providing rich and dimensional teaching content, using flexible and manoeuvrable teaching methods, establishing the harmonious and symbolic relationship between teachers and students, building multivariate dynamic evaluation system. Application of the teaching strategies will ensure reconstructing a harmonious and efficient English classroom and improving the effectiveness of the college English classroom teaching.
