The rapid development of China’s economy continuously strengthens improvement of national ability and improves the nationhood in the globe, also a lot of foreigners are fond of the large Chinese market, and so there is increasing number of foreign learners to begin to learn Chinese and Chinese culture. Chinese as a foreign language step in a vigorous development and the subject status of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has also been greatly improved. As a result, the number of foreign students studying Chinese is also increasing. In this process, foreign students learning Chinese has encountered all sorts of difficulties in teaching, quantifier related to the topic of wide, frequent use in daily communication, in view of this, this paper from the perspective of quantifier teaching discussed foreign language learning. This paper first describes the meaning of quantifier, function and the significance of the quantifier in modern Chinese. Then, combined with the error linguistic data, this thesis points out the questions of quantifier teaching and make a clarification and statement of these error phenomenon. At last, this paper gives some suggestions based on the research of teaching method to efficient quantifier teaching. Through the research of quantifier acquisition for foreign students, this paper finds out that with the increasing time of Chinese acquisition, the mastery degree of quantifier acquisition is strengthen, the mastery degree of quantifier acquisition is different when the Chinese proficiency of. The research also shows the diverse error phenomenon of quantifier acquisition for foreign students, including improper word order, misuse, mix, multi-purpose or missing and quantifier structure overlapping, which are both caused by teachers and students. Therefore, in order to help students to better acquire quantifiers, teachers need to strengthen the contrastive analysis, ontology research of quantifier words and improve teaching methods, then the writer need to improve the teaching material arrangement which should be appropriate for foreign students’Chinese level, and students also should have a positive learning attitude to learn Chinese.
