A Contrast Test Research,Among The Non-sinogram Cultural Circle’s Learners In Primary Phase,Between Sinogram Basic Unit And Word Basic Unit

Word Basic Unit (WBU) holds the view that word is the basic unit for Chinese and sinogram is just a character for noting Chinese. Consequently, WBU inclines to make a separation with vocabulary instruction and sinogram instruction, which vocabulary instruction is one part and sinogram instruction is another. Sinogram basics unit (SBU), rising in recent years, gives us a new view toward the relationship between word and sinogram in Chinese, which is different with WBU. Basic unit in Chinese is sinogram and word is a formation unit form sinogram by two ways acetic and tropism. The scholars,who support sinogram basic unit, generally recognize that: Sinogram is basic unit in Chinese, Chinese vocabulary instruction must value the usage of sinogram instruction in it. Therefore in the sinogram basic unit instruction system, "sinogram" is the origination of Chinese instruction, following the sequence of "sinogram�'word�'sentence", vocabulary instruction start at the stage of complement of sinogram instruction.WBU instruction and SBU instruction, which one would be more suitable for non-sinogram cultural circle Chinese language instruction (especially for the primary stage). To clarify this question, author made a contrast test between a Word Basic Unit class and a sinogram Basic Unit class, so as to discuss the efficient path toward vocabulary instruction non-sinogram cultural circle. This paper has five parts:First part.-Prolegomena, This part is an overview about Word Basic Unit and sinogram basic unit research.Second part:Contrast Experiment, this part pay attention on problem:Whether SBU is more predominance than WBU for non-sinogram cultural circle’s instruction primary in primary stage. This Contrast experiment contains four sections:Section One, the contrast analysis with the total score between SBU class and WBU class; Section Two, the contrast test about sinogram written capability between SBU class and WBU class; Section Three, comparative test about morpheme memory between two classes. Section Four:comparative study about vocabulary memory in two classes.Third part:Analyses and discuss about data, experimental data will be divide into three phases with time order, making quantitative analyses from three aspects:average、variance、T value. At last, we have a conclusion, the students from SBU class in the areas of sinogram written-. morpheme memory、vocabulary memory,are demonstrably better than the ones coming form WBU. Author gives a discussion in the part of experimental result discussion to analysis, from sinogram acquisition and vocabulary acquisition, why this phenomenon will appear.Fourthly part:Summary--predominance about SBU, this part has two main tracks. One track is the proportion between sinogram and word, based on the proportion of Chinese people practical language application and the acquirement of abroad Chinese as second language instruction. author think that,for oversea Chinese L2 instructions, we should make a consideration of proportion between sinogram and word, so that SBU,focused on’sinogram controls word’, is visibility WBU, which is’word books sinogram’.Another track is established in the particularity of non-sinogram cultural circle’s Chinese instructional. We lucubrates the relationship of sinogram instruction and vocabulary instruction in the non-sinogram cultural circle sinogram instruction system. It is incapable of regarding sinogram instruction only as a character instruction and separating sinogram instruction from vocabulary instruction compressing the time of sinogram instruction. On the Contrary, sinogram instruction should be the first step for vocabulary instruction, even for the whole instruction system.Last part is to make a conclusion for the whole article.
