The Musical Form Analysis And Preforming Interpretation Of Vanhal’s 《Concerto In D Major For Double Bass》

Johann Baptist vanhal (Johann Baptist Vanhal,1739.5.12-1813.8.20), was a composer born in a peasant family in Bohemia, Nechanice, a northern city of the Czech in the 18th century.The composer composed concerto for many musical instruments in his life, but he only created the《Concerto in D major》 for Double Bass. He is a landmark figure, having a far-reaching influence on the double bass.This paper is divided into three chapters, discussing Vanhal’s double bass《Concerto in D major》.
