The Guzheng Concerto,"Ru Shi",is named from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.Through a series of compositional techniques, composer Wang Danhong shows the complex changes and development of the music, depicting the life of the legendary Liu Ru Shi,her righteous and unconventional attitude towards life, and conveying to the listener the spirit of "Ru Shi" with "talent, backbone and chivalry".The work has a great explosive power, which is in line with Liu Ru Shi's expression of a different woman's temperament and her feeling of not daring to forget her country's worries at a time when her country was in ruins and her family was dying. The core material of the theme melody of the work is developed from a passage in the Kunqu song "Peony Pavilion-Dreaming in the Garden"(Soap Robe),which was popular in the Ming and Qing dynasties. This article analyzes the work from both historical and geographical perspectives. The first chapter analyzes the life and patriotic feelings of Liu Ru Shi from a historical perspective;the second chapter analyzes the Jiangnan culture and kunqu from a regional perspective;the third chapter analyzes the structure and musical text of the work;and the fourth chapter explores the technical performance of the interpretation of the work through the analysis and interpretation of the above three chapters,so as to make the interpretation more moving, expressive and infectious.
