The "Change" And "Constaney" Of Modernity—Nietzsche’s Criticism Of Modernity

The topic of this article is Nietzsche’s criticism of modernity, the so-called "change" and "constancy" aim at outstanding the uniqueness of Nietzsche’s critique and ideas. People are used to put the problem of modernity to discuss in the context of the traditional and modern evolution, and to seek the essence of modernity that is, in the "change" stipulation. And Nietzsche’s nihilism is not only the basic stipulation of modernity but also the root of the crisis of modernity from a tradition of Platonism created by Socrates and Plato.After two thousand years, no matter how time changes, the spirit of Platonism has never changed and eventually led the crisis of modernity to break out. In view of this, the beginning of the article try to describe relatively visual world picture of modernity, and to present the "change" of modernity, so as to elicit Nietzsche’s experience of modernity. This paper argues that there is the significance of experience of epistemology, as a discerning philosopher, Nietzsche’s special modern experience made him diagnose the symptom of the age--nihilism.The critique of modernity by Nietzsche and his critique of Platonism is an organic unity, which contains the strategic thoughts that Nietzsche would overcome nihilism crisis.The content of this paper can be essentially consisted of two parts:on the one hand, this paper focuses on Nietzsche’s criticism of our present-day and has sorted out the continuation of Platonism clues by criticizing Christianity, modern politics and modern science;on the other hand,the paper will review Nietzsche’s ideas about overcoming nihilism crisis. This paper insists that taking "the will to power" as the basis and "eternal recurrence" as the highest value orientation, Nietzsche has been clear about the framework plan of promoting human progress, which can make people get rid of the crisis of modernity. When it comes s to Nietzsche’s philosophy, people usually ignore such topics, such as the relation between philosophy and religion, philosophy and politics, philosophers and people. This article will discuss these issues.
