Two Dimensions Of Absurdity

Liu Zhenyun is a writer who has a variety of writing styles and has been much talked about in the contemporary literary world. The themes of his novels are varied, including rights, history, hometown and so on. The consistent direction is:On the basis of the land of the hometown, it reveals the survival difficult position of human, the human destiny and the contradiction between man and man. And this direction is the ultimate direction of the absurdity of the essence of life in China. This paper starts from the absurd themes of Liu Zhenyun’s novels as the research breakthrough point, and discusses in detail the philosophical category and aesthetic category of absurdity. First of all, this paper sorts out the related research of Liu Zhenyun’s novels briefly and leads to its research direction and research value on the basis of previous studies, and then makes a detailed definition of the concept of absurdity. Secondly, the embodiment of the novel is fully discussed in detail:the theme of the novel is the embodiment of the implication of the Absurd Philosophy, the writing techniques of the novel give prominence to the absurd aesthetic implication. The former part of this article starts from the perspective of the conflicts between the human and the world, it describes that people are in a variety of survival difficulties, and they are facing with the fate which is hard to escape and resistance; from the perspective of the conflicts between one himself and the others, there are the barriers and conflicts which are difficult to eliminate between man and man; and from the perspective of historical significance’s being banished, it describes that history has lost dignity in the cycle of the performance and the humble desires. The latter part describes that the writing techniques of Liu Zhenyun’s novels give prominence to absurdity. In the end, the characteristics of absurdity in Liu Zhenyun’s novels are summarized, together with the realistic plots, the means of scene and the nationality and enthusiasm of value orientation. And on this basis, this paper deeply explore the value and significance of the absurd writing in Liu Zhenyun’s novels.
