The Analysis Of Funeral Words And Application Of It In The Field Of Teaching Chinese As A Second Language

Funeral words are important parts of folk vocabulary, but also important for teaching Chinese as a foreign or second language. From the perspective of folklore and linguistics,this paper analyzes and interprets the convention of Funeral words which often use in the paper. Then, this paper researches the origins and characteristics of Funeral Culture and Funeral words. It defined the concept of Funeral words and the scope of this paper. The paper will be divided into two types of words. Then, the article studies grammatical structure, pragmatic and semantic of Funeral words. A large number of examples of Funeral words will be used in this analysis.The characteristics are summarized for the teaching of Funeral words. Next, the article attempts to put Funeral words into teaching Chinese as a second language vocabulary teaching, by writing text, through text analysis and teaching, summarizing teaching methods and principles, which in order to make more foreigners understand Funeral words and Chinese folk culture.Funeral words as special folk vocabularies, which reflect Funeral Culture in the language level, contain a wealth of cultural meanings. By learning Funeral words,foreigners can make a comprehensive understanding of Chinese attitudes towards death and life, a deeper understanding of the Chinese people’s values and universal concept.Undoubtedly, the study is good for teaching Chinese as a foreign or second language.
