In foreign language teaching, language education and cultural education are reinforcing and complementary mutually. With the change of the concept of foreign language teaching, the focus of Korean language education shifts gradually. The pattern of centre changes from grammar to cultural. The textbook as an important means to teach cultural knowledge, plays an important role in Korean culture education. At present, in China, although there are some studies on the Korean textbooks cultural content, but on studies comparing China and Korea teaching cultural content is almost hard to find.For these reasons, this study used statistical method, comparative analysis of research methods, studied the cultural content from the texts books which in China and South Korea each published for domestic used in China. This study first described the Korean language education and cultural education’s theoretical background from the definition and classification of culture, integration relationship Foreign Language Education and Cultural Education, the importance of texts books in cultural education in three areas. And secondly according to three stages of beginner, intermediate, advanced and five kinds of life culture, linguistic culture, historical culture, spiritual culture, artical culture comparative analysis cultural contents’similarities and differences of the two Korean textbooks. And got the conclusion that Korean scholars to write textbooks payed more attention to spiritual culture and Chinese scholars have written textbooks payed more attention to language and culture. Finally, the study dig out the Korean people’s cultural awareness according to similarities and differences from the two countries’textbooks.In the future, this study may provide some positive and effective information and help in writing text books of scholars, as well as Korean language learners in the choice of materials.
