The Value Of Brush Stroke,Viewing Contemporary Chinese Abstract Paintings As Examples

As the basic element of painting language,brush stroke has a phased change in the history of art.As the stroke is the common result of the artist's brain,heart and hand,it is the embodiment of the artist's painting concept and consciousness,which includes the dual influence factors of consciousness and unconsciousness.In history,Titian began to use the touch to express emotions or feelings,and the strokes had shown a "expression" in the western classical painting period,and after the Impressionist school,more artists realized its "expressiveness".This trend is directly related to the concern and affirmation of human values.From the stroke of viewing western modern painting and contemporary painting,especially in the typical case of Chinese abstract painting,we can find that the value of the strokes is gradually promoted in the painting.They are no longer the "appendage" and the artists of each stage have gradually expanded their meaning to become the main character of the picture.In contemporary painting,strokes are more able to get rid of the "standard" and become the "trace" produced by today's artists to solve the "individual" problem,which also leads people to explore "what is today's painting" in a stroke of writing,and deeply excavate the essence and evolution of painting.This paper,taking the author's field investigation as the main research way,records the experience after watching the representative strokes of the art history at various stages,and tries to explain the point of view that "pen touch" is gradually valued and its own value in the history of painting from the true view.In the study of each work,the description of the work content and personal views are organically combined.This paper selects the representative works of Western Classicism,Impressionism,abstract expressionism,and the three Oriental artists in the East,combing the change process of "brush touch" in the history of art,especially analyzing its characteristics of "no law categorization" in the picture of contemporary Chinese abstract artists.The article enumerates the occasional strokes of psychological artistic conception,the stroke of Chinese calligraphy form and the conceptual style of emphasizing material properties.Each style is a strong presentation of the individual pursuit of the artist,and to a certain extent exposes the characteristics of the contemporary painting.In this context,the author puts forward the idea of establishing a "compound space" with the brush touch in his graduation creation,trying to establish a "personalization" painting space which is different from the traditional painting space,and plans to practice the introduction of non painting materials in the future art creation.
