Study On The Morphology Of The Pingdiyao’s Baduhua In Fuchuan County

This thesis mainly depicts the morphology of the Pingdiyao’s Baduhua in Fuchuan County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In order to reveal its features of morphology, the Baduhua is compared with Fuyanghua and Wuzhouhua as well as Mianyu.This paper may provide some references for future research on Pingdiyaohua.The thesis contains five parts:The first part is the Introduction. It introduces the source of my choice, the research purpose and significance as well as the research methods, meanwhile, it also combs the history and status quo of research of Pingdiyaohua.The second part is the the phonetic system of Pingdiyao’s Baduhua in Fuchuan County,including its initials, finals and tones systems as well as its phonological features.The third part is the morphology of Baduhua. It depicts and analyzes two types of morphology:the word building and the form building. The word building contains the additional form and the composite form while the form building contains the internal alternating form and the eclipsed form.The fourth part is the comparison of morphology between Baduhua and its surrounding languages. This part compares Baduhua with Fuyanghua, Wuzhouhua and Mianyu in order to reveal their differences and similarities of morphology.The last part is the Conclusion. It points out the research value and the shortcomings as well as the problems need to be studied further in the future.
