A Multiple-angles Analysis Of "Yi Yang" And The Reduplication

At present, the domestic linguistics do much more research on "yiyang" and its relevant formats. However, few research on the reduplication of "yiyang", especially the adjective reduplication "yiyang(yi)yang", which is used widely and has powerful vitality in modern Chinese,is a language phenomenon caused much concern. Based on the previous studies,the author defines the property of "yiyang" and its reduplication analyzing the characteristics of "yiyang"and its reduplication from symantic,syntactic and pragmatics, using the methods of the combination of describing and explaining, synchronic and diachronic, the concret methods of semantic analysis, replacement analysis, comparative analysis and so on, to make a multi perspectives study on "yiyang"and its reduplication,so that we can have a comprehensive investigation and analysis of syntactic function, grammatical meaning, pragmatic function of the "yiyang" and its reduplication revealing the usage regularity of them.The article concludes six chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the recent study situation of "yiyang", the research status of Chinese reduplication problem including quantity reduplication and adjective reduplication, elaborating the research purpose and the research significance, introducing the study methods,and the corpus source.The second chapter mainly clarifies the property and the development of "yiyang" and the reduplication from the diachronic perspective.The third chapter mainly describes the syntactic function of "yiyang" and the reduplication from the syntactic view.The fourth chapter discusses the grammatical meaning of quantifier "yiyang", adjective "yiyang" and auxiliary word "yiyang". and analsyzing the deep reason and mechanism of reduplication from the inner perspective of language, namely economy principle, redundancy principle and the principle of quantity in cognitive linguistics.The fifth chapter examines the pragmatic feature of "yiyang"and its reduplication, the descriptive function and rhetorical value of the reduplication of quantifier "yiyang", the language style and subjective characteristics of the reduplication of auxiliary "yiyang", besides, this chapter focus on the characteristics of adjective "yiyang" from the perspective of stylistic distribution, subjectivity, conversational principles and textual function.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper, draw some basic conclusions, and pointed out the deficiencies of this paper and the prospects for the latter part of the paper.
