First of all, there#re a clear two narrative persons and perspective subjects for the narrative person in Super China, and the narrative structure framework is set up by the study on the narrative structure and the central focus. Secondly, for the most unique and stylized visual language in Super China, this paper analyzes its material, text, and images with details in three aspects of the typical case &interviews, commentary &data information and camera language &montage editing. Finally, this paper makes interpretation on its discourse skills in the semiotics principle macroscopically. After the analysis on the narrative strategy in Super China, this paper assumes that this film has broken the conventional narrative perspective that the West "demonizes" China, displays the dual nation images of the "Super China" and "Hegemonic China", and elaborates with details the different features of this dual image in three aspects of politics, economy and culture. From this, we can tell that the national image of "Hegemonic China" is established other nations# fear and anxiety from China with the rise of a "Super China". As the dual shaping on our national image by Super China, as well as its international influence, a revelation could be given for us to build a good national image in international communication. After research, the writer assumes that, to create a good national image in one documentary, we should first stay close to the global audience#s psychology, recognize the advantages and disadvantages for the national image shaping respectively by us and others, and explore that the Sino-foreign co-production is the best choice for a normalized China image shaping.
