The most important thing to maintaining Chinese oil painting’s local language system is to enriching Chinese oil painting’s expression diversity. This article discussed Mr. Zhao Kaikun’s innovative expressing ways in his oil painting creation. His unique line expression is a typical personalization mark in Chinese freehand oil paintings, which has made contributions to the diversity of Chinese oil painting’s formal language.Zhao Kaikun’s painting style has a special kind of grand and marvelous aesthetic characteristics, which is based on the Northern China’s regional culture. This aesthetic characteristics made his paintings different from the artificial interior paintings. His paintings are hearty.
