Research On The Construction And Management Of Chongqing Local Chronicles Museums Based Upon Public Cultural Services

Local chronicles museums play a role that large public libraries and archives and other cultural institutions cannot replace. With its specialized, exclusive and authoritative collection resources, utilizing modern methods, local chronicles museums provide society with efficient, rapid and accurate public cultural services. To build a modern public cultural service system, to achieve standardization and equalization of basic public cultural services, is one of the key tasks to correctly and comprehensively deepen cultural system reforms, deployed during the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the CPC. In the process of local chronicles museums construction, we should always hold cultural service system establishment as a guide. This thesis points out disadvantages and advantages of several other local chronicles museums on the basis of their construction and management. Finally the thesis draws measures of Chongqing local chronicles museums to function its public culture transmission role, combined with Chongqing history and development and current local chronicles museums working practice.
