With the prosperity of Internet technology, the popularization of computer and mobile phone, network learning has broken through the limitation of traditional education.The network learning characteristics of autonomy,non-time and no-space limit have a subtle influence on our learning style and concept.We enjoy free and convenient in network learning,meanwhile face network trek, network learning self-efficacy is low,network learning does not adapt, information anxiety etc..How to improve the efficiency and quality of network learning has become a growing concern. This paper has explored the relationship between initiative personality, achievement motivation and network learning self-monitoring from internal power and personality characteristics of network ’learner perspective.and further analyzed the influence factors of network learning self-monitoring.This study is helpful for improving students’ network learning quality and reforming the mode of network education.This study has made a questionnaire survey with network class’ students from the Tianjin occupation technical normal university.Through statistical analysis, we has been understand the students proactive personality, achievement motivation, self-monitoring status in Network learning activity.and has been explored the relationship between initiative personality, achievement motivation and network learning self-monitoring.Research findings:(1) The characteristics of College Students’ proactive personality are obvious.The level of the students’ proactive personality was higher than that of liberal arts students.(2) The overall level of College Students’ achievement motivation is low.The average score of success is higher than avoiding failure.The achievement motivation of non only child is significantly higher than that of only child.(3) College Students’ self-monitoring ability of network learning is in the medium level.Girls’ self-monitoring is significantly better than boys in network learning.(4) there is a significant correlation between College Students’ proactive personality, achievement motivation and self-controlling. The achievement motivation plays an intermediary role in the proactive personality and self-monitoring.
