The Study On Wang Zhong Si

Wang zhong si(705-749) was from Hua Yin Shanxi Province, had successively serviced as the governor of military commands of Ho-tung、shuo-fang、Ho-si、lung-yu and presided over the battle with minority regime such as Tibet、Turkic、Hsi for many times, and has made a lot of battle achievements. This paper mainly divided into four aspects,Wang zhong si’family background,military battles in experience, border measures and thoughts, and the relationship between the central bureau and him.The author through comparing the tablet of Wang zhongsi with Chiu T’ang sbu、Hsin T’ang sbu,reference to other related literature, had carried on and corrected some problems of the above four aspects in detaile First,family background. Wang zhong si was not contained in the Tai Yuan wang clan as Chiu T’ang sbu and Hsin T’ang sbu recorded, but a generation for ordinary family name,and the native place shall be the HuaYin County, not zheng county. Second, military battles in experience. The battle with Tibet in YuBiao sichuan was the starting point of military career of Wang zhongsi and the travel route consistented with the silk road. In K’ai yüan 18 to 20 years,the deed of Wang zhongsi was not recorded in Chiu T’ang sbu and Hsin T’ang sbu.He followed with the vice marshal of Ho-tung Liyi fighting with Khitan and Hsi, and participated in cooperative engagement with the military of shuo-fang, which laid the foundation for its later ruled Ho-tung,shuo-fang. In the T’ien-pao the first year, Wang zhongsi defeated Hsi for three times, Zi qian River was the beginning of its march.,and Sang gan River.In T’ien-pao the three years, Wang zhongsi played a far active role as Chiu T’ang sbu and Hsin T’ang sbu had recorded in the process of destroying the turkic,using the strategy that deterrence was given priority, a military strike was complementary, destroying turkic with minimum cost. Third, border measures and thoughts. The formation of thought which maintained border safety may be related to its childhood experiences,and its expanding its border facilities, is also for this kind of thought in the practice. Fourth, the relationship with the central bureau.
