Fan Jiang, who is appointed by the government in Tang dynasty to be leader (director) in Han-Zone or Fan-Zone besides the Han-Chinese, mostly derive from other ethnic minorities. Fan Jiang from Kok Turks, also known as Celestial Turks, is one of the most important part among all Fan Jiang in Tang dynasty. On the one side, they take an active part in establishment of the Han Empire; on the other side, they exert a profound influence on reunification and stability of Tang dynasty. To begin with, this paper takes the Turkic Fan Jiang in Tang dynasty as the object of research and adopts the method of combining the historic literature and the documents on the stone craving down from ancient times to study their names, political and social life; at the end of this paper, their social status is also summarized. At the very beginning of Tang dynasty, Turkic Fan Jiang participate in a lots of wars and battles on behalf of the government, later on they grows into close assistant to the Emperors because of their doughty and high enthusiasm. Most of them are highly placed with fat emoluments after the wars, some of them even get the chance to marry princesses. They are also granted extra titles after they pass away and have the privilege to be buried together with an emperor. As the emperor make several preferential policies for Turkic Fan Jiang, most of them stay in the central plains and become into a huge Turkic clan. To be better integrated in the Han-Chinese sociality, some of the Turkic Fan Jiang even rename themselves with the conventional Han-Chinese name and change some of their living habits, e.g. to follow the example of the funeral tradition like Han-Chinese. As time goes by, however, by reason of the decreasing influence of all the Kok Turks and the revolution in the society in the middle and latter days of Tang dynasty, the social status of Fan Jiang is enormously altered compared with previously. The way how the government treat Turkic Fan Jiang is not ideal like the earlier days anymore.
