Since Huang Kan taught “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse” in Peking University on September, 1914, the study on Dragonology has experienced one hundred years evolution in 2015. Wang Yuanhua’s “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse " is undoubtedly one achievement of the greatest influence on the studies of ancient literature in this period, and the book is a new work about theoretical studies on “literary mind and the carving of dragons" since Huang Kan’s “the literary mind and the carving of dragons essays”.The author regards Xiong Shili’s motto "no easy to its solid foundation, and cutting an epigram" as a guiding principle for the theoretical study, and regards the combination of ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign literature history and philosophy as specific research methods. Equipped with deep Ancient Chinese Literature accomplishment and superb Western Literary Theory knowledge,meticulous research and comprehensive comparison.The author of Liu Xie’s view of literature and art is a reflection of the theory, which makes it more theoretical and beyond the limitation of simple reflection, which highlights the initiative of the main body and rises to the height of the dialectical theory. Through the study of Wang Yuanhua "Wen Xin Diao Long speak Shu" literary theory of reflection, explore the mentality and the "long study" to provide some reference for the research.The author looked up all the papers since the publication of the book in 1979 and found there are many studies on the book and the author, but there are not enough studies on the thought of reflection theory of “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse”, and there is only a thesis by Xia Zhongyi on the relationship between creation and reflection theory of “the literary mind and the carving of dragons”. Based on the perspective of literature and art, This paper intends to analyze and interpret “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse” with combining Chinese and Western theory, and then dig out theoretical and practical significance of original and literature creation theory, so as to reveal the author’s profound thought of reflection theory in the book, this idea. The thought shows a tendency from general reflection theory to aesthetic reflection theory with appearance of modified versions, which also embodies spiritual experiences of Wang Yuanhua. The thesis intends to explore the new ways of dragonology through the study on Wang Yuanhua’s literary reflection theory in “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse”.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction, body, and conclusion.The Introduction part is an overview of Wang Yuanhua’s “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse” and its main contents and research significance of, in addition this part introduces the background of “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse”,The relationship between the three reflection and revision of the book of Wang yuanhua.The body part interprets Wang Yuanhua’s thought of literary reflection theory in “the literary mind and the carving of dragons talk sparse” from the perspectives of literary theory,literary theory blending heart, emotions theory, the proposed Yung coring theory.The conclusion part conducts to "speak" in the literary mind and the carving of sparse literary theory of reflection are summarized.
