| Ge Zao Mountain is one of the most famous Taoism mountains in China. It ’ s called the origin of LingBao school in Taoism. Ge Zao Mountain, together with Longhu Mountain in Yingtan and Mao Mountain in Nanjing, are called the three preaching holy areas in Taoism, which has profound influence in Taoism history. Its rituals music is multiply influenced by folk music, court music, Buddhism music, drama,maintaining complete form and profound meaning. As a part of Chinese traditional music culture, the emergency and development of GeZao mountain Taoism music represents every aspect of the sediment among a rich culture of the essence. Besides, its functions and features music and national culture are closely related.This article is based on research perspective ethnomusicology,ending with a comprehensive investigation and analysis according to the usage of Taoist school history, the type of ceremony and ritual process,tech&ceremony form music, the basic characteristics by using the literature collection, fieldwork, case studies on the history of Ge Zao Mountain Lingbao school in Taoism. The full text consists of four chapters: Chapter 1: History of Ge Zao Mountain Lingbao school in Taoism culture and its music, mainly giving a systematical analysis about the formation and development history of Ge Zao Mountain Taoism Lingbao school;Chapter 2: it mainly includes a detailed description of the development process, showing Ge Zao Mountain ’ s instrument characteristics and the specific application of music in Taoist ritual,Rituals and ritual music program usage, ritual occasions and settings,hierarchy of ritual and ceremony participants. Chapter 3:According to fieldwork data and recordings of notation, the basic elements of music,melody form, rhythm shape, morphology and other parties, chapter three mainly disclosed the characteristics of its form and usage. What’s more,Taoism music in Ge Zao Mountain is detailly analyzed, revealing the morphological characteristics and the use of features; Chapter 4:According to religious Studies, Sociological, Aesthetic dimension of Ge Zao Mountain Taoist music, symbols symbolism, culture and heritage blend, and also preaching situations are deeply discussed and analyzed in this chapter.Study on Ge Zao Mountain Taoism music was designed to analyze and recognize the essence and value of its mining activities Taoism culture. Besides, its individuality and common features, together with reference material, are providing a basic materials for related research, in order to make our least effort for the inheriting and development of Ge Zao Mountain and its Taoism tech&ceremony form music, attracting more attention to this cultural phenomenon among scholars and intellectuals in today’s environment. |
