Suzhou Taoist music belongs to the Zhengyi Taoism music. In the history of its development, it shows the trend of secularization especially absorbing the elements of folk music like the most representative one——Jiangnan Sizhu. On the one hand, Suzhou Taoist music as a kind of reli gious music art form has had a characteristic breakthrough in acoustics, structure, form and aesth etic which on the wide influence of Jiangnan Sizhu. Breaking the serious, dull and lonely traditio nal religious music, it gets the favor of folk mass and has a solid mass foundation. On the other hand, the secular Suzhou Taoist music embodies the profound cultural connotation of folk music art. It is a typical representative of the secular development of religious art and which is also a kind of meaningful added for folk music. It has a high value on art and art theory.The fusion of Jiangnan Sizhu and Suzhou Taoist music is the promotion for Suzhou Taoist m usic. Based on this, it formats this paper’s logical start. This paper mainly analyzes the foundatio n of amalgamation about Suzhou Taoist music and Jiangnan Sizhu from history and causation. Th en discussing the concretc influence of Jiangnan Sizhu to Suzhou Taoist music from the music fo rm and art aesthetic. The various influence of Jiangnan Sizhu to Suzhou Taoist music which has essentially reflected the problem of secularization of religious art. According to this case, at the e nd of the paper, it attempts to explore the artistic law of religious art. On the basis of supportin g the secularization of religious art, at the same time, realizing the positive significance that the religious art adheres to its internal unity and carries out diversified development.
