In Chinese, Bushi A Jiushi B is a common construction which has been one of the most important topics in the Chinese academic research circles. Generally, the previous research includes the syn-chronic and diachronic perspectives. The syn-chronic research focuses on the syntactic structures and grammatical functions of the construction. Scholars have studied the compositions and motivations of the construction, and Xing(2001) and Xi(2002) have done relevant research; function is the research of the grammatical and pragmatic functions of this construction, Gan(2011) and Liu(1996) have done relevant research. Nevertheless, previous scholars mainly study this construction from the Chinese point of view to the grammatical meanings and syntactical features of the construction as a separate description and elaboration, the comprehensive and in-depth research of this construction of is not enough.In this paper, we describe and summarize the syntactic features, pragmatic functions, and grammar meanings of Bushi A jiushi B construction grounded on the theories of cognitive linguistics from multiple angles and perspectives for the train of thoughts and methods. The introduction part explains the concept of Bushi A Jiushi B construction under the jurisdiction of the subordinate category and outlines the research content, methods, and significance. The body part analyzes statically the associated words, the subjects of clauses, the objects of components and syntax, its cognitive motivations, and concludes the construction mainly has three grammatical meanings. The semantic analysis part analyzes the semantic relationship from the external and internal semantic relation between A and B to the semantic relationship between clauses, concluding the pragmatic analysis from the dynamic perspective of pragmatic conditions of stylistic features and the constraints of sequence. In short, this research seeks a better practice engaged in achieving a description to the theoretical study on the research methods, enriches the results of this construction, widens the constitutive research ideas, and provides convenience for follow-up studies.
