The New Reflection On ’Practice Being The Sole Standard For Testing Truth’

Since ’practice being the unique standard for testing truth’(after referred to this as ’practice standard’) has been clearly established, there are many disputes and differences between people’s understanding and interpretation of it. The reason is that people in the establishment of the philosophical basis of ’practice standard’ did not form a consensus, especially not really from Marx’s practice view and truth view determined by it to understand and explain the basic connotation of the proposition. Actually, Lenin, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and other classical writers correctly understand practice standard based on Marx’s practice view and truth view determined by it and put forward and explain the viewpoint of practice being the first basic point of Marxism epistemology, and then put forward and explain ’practice standard’. In short, Marx’s view of practice is the final philosophical basis for the establishing and interpreting ’practice standard’. Therefore, it is still an important subject to make a new thinking and interpretation about ’practice standard’ based on Marx’s view of practice.
