Research On The Use Of Characters Of Beast Animal Words In Naxi Dongba Scripture

Naxi Dongba character is called as “living hieroglyphics”,it mainly used for writing religious scripture.At present,scholars at home and abroad have made a large number of research on Dongba character,and have obtained great achievements. In this paper, we take the <Annotated collection of Naxi Dongba Manuscripts>(hereinafter referred to as the Quanji) as main research material,and combining some dictionaries of Dongba character,conduct a relatively comprehensive collection、collation and research on Beast animal words in Naxi Dongba scripture.This artic’s research on Beast animal words in Naxi Dongba scripture is divided into three major aspects: the definition and classification and the language form of the dongba Beast animals,the records and the languastic expression of the Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture,words of character research on the Beast animals in Naxi Dongba scripture,and there are five chapters in all.Chapter one:Introduction.in this part,it firstly conducted a relatively comprehensive overview on the research status of Dongba character and Beast animal words in Naxi Dongba scripture.Then,it analyzed the significance of the research,research methods,the features of the research and the research process.Chapter two:An overview of Beast animal in Naxi Dongba scripture.This chaper firstly introduced the definition and classification of the dongba Beast animals in Naxi Dongba scripture,and then analyzed the image of the Beast animals in Naxi Dongba scripture.Finally,it analyzed the language form of Beast animals words,including vocabulary profiles and voice profiles.Chapter three:The records and the Languastic expression of the Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture.This chapter firstly analyzed the records of the Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture.Then,it analyzed the common linguastic expression of Beast animals words,including ideographical expression,phonetic expression and the expression of combining transliteration and free translation.Fanally,it analyzed the special words expression of Beast animals words,There are five kinds of spcial expression of Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture,including,double-phonetic sign phenomenon,double-form sign phenomenon,the phenomenon of indicating ideografition twice,the phenomenon of sharing characters.Chapter four: The words composition research on the Beast animals in Naxi Dongba scripture.Based on the perspective of the construction process of the characters and word-formationcharacteristics,this chapter analyzed the word- structure firstly,including glyph structure and configuration mode.Then it had an analysis of the word-formation characteristics of the Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture.Chapter five:Conclusion. This chapter based on the research results of chapter 2-4,summarized the whole article,and arrived at relevant conclusions about the research on the use of characters of Beast animals words in Naxi Dongba scripture.
