Difference Of Han And Uygur Students’ Self-construal

This study attempts to explore different types of faces in terms of processing methods and pay attention to the specific circumstances of different self-construction in-depth analysis and research, and to provide sufficient information and data for the study of self-construction and Xinjiang local culture cross-cultural. Study eye movement recording methods, the use of visual search task to analyze the conditions under different faces, Han and Uygur Students choose their lovers as subjects 52 to explore faces its attention in the course of processing in the capture and maintenance aspects specific situation. Research is divided into two experiments:A study on using the face task-related visual search paradigm to study subjects in the task of self-face, the faces of lovers and others face processing characteristics, so as to explore self-face, lovers and strangers face to face processing note capture and maintain performance. The results showed that the visual search task identity in subjects’ self-face and the faces of lovers on the search time significantly faster than the faces of strangers, while paying attention to sustain attention on their own time and significant others significantly longer strangers. Uyghur and both are better than Han college students, showing self-face and lovers face showed a faster ability to capture and maintain the ability to pay attention.Second and face with task-irrelevant visual search paradigm, using a variety of eye movement to examine the self-face, the faces of lovers and strangers face machining of attention capture and maintain performance. In the mouth face type in the search task is unrelated to the experimental task, which investigated in these subjects to face the task of stimulating the distribution of attention. Experimental results show that the mouth of the search task, self-face and lovers faces, whether or not consistent with the goal mouth, different ethnic subjects have shown a preference for note capture and maintain the attention.Get the following conclusions: Uygur and Han Students have a more consistent self-construction type, belonging to the same type of self-construction-dependent type. Uighur students in performance from my connotation and "lovers" of this important relationship to others more closely, compared in terms of the Han nationality college students, self-construction of the scope of Uighur students more contains "Lovers," the concept of significant others.
