| Individual emotion recognition ability is of vital significance to its survival and development, and the recognition of facial expression ability is an important manifestation of individual emotion recognition ability.Receive and interpret the facial expressions of others information, not only the important influence on individual’s social intercourse activity, the mental health but also has far-reaching significance.Numerous studies have found that children with autism to positive emotion recognition than negative emotions, face, and they face to various negative sentiment to identify differences, but this conclusion is different.For proven autistic children with different negative emotions, face recognition and abnormal processing strategy is used in face recognition, this research designed two experiments, if two experiments obtain consistent conclusion, this experiment for the current controversy existing in the research field provides a strong support.Experiment1 using classic learning- recognition paradigm, experiment 2 using Morph technology.From children with autism rehabilitation center recruit 20 children with autism, aged 6 to 10.Emotional pictures selected from Chinese faces 10 neutral emotional face images, using Face Gen, Photoshop, Sqirlz Morph2.1 software to deal with the images, such as sorting out a series of emotional faces were needed for the experiment.Using Excel, E- prime own E- merge and SPSS16.0 data processing software of experiments, the data were collected for statistical analysis.Experimental results show that children with autism in this research involves four significant differences on negative emotions, face recognition, embodied in: the four kinds of negative emotional faces in the picture, autistic children to disgust face picture recognition result is best, the worst fear face picture recognition results.Experiment 2 get a consistent results with the experiment, the performance for fear that the participant need higher strength to fear face images for recognition, and in recognition of disgust face image, but only need lower emotional intensity.Through the analysis of two experimental results, this study conclude that children with autism in four significant differences on negative emotions, face recognition, the recognition of disgust faces, best of anger and sadness, face recognition is followed and the recognition of these two kinds of emotional faces there is no difference, for fear of face recognition is the worst. |
