The Stream Of Consciousness Style In Uighur New-tide Fiction

From the late 19 th century to the early 20 th century, there has been great changing in Uyghur literature. In this period, the genre of novel in Uyghur literature has been appeared in a new style due to the social and historical factors. In the early 20 th century the form of story, prose and full-length novel have begun to be written down in novel style. In addition, themes, contents, styles and literature forms have been continuingly enriched and developed. In 1978, after the reform and opening-up policy, the novel writing style has been entered into a new stage. The new Uyghur novel writing style has been realized for the purpose of updating to the new stage.The new type of novel in Uyghur literature is different from the traditional one, mainly from the perspectives of theme, structure, expression, utterance utilization and style etc. Through probing innovation, the new content and factors have been added for the artistic forms and expression ways, fitting to the demand of that period. The main stream was the new expression way in the artistic form of the novel writing which played the key role in the strategy variation of literary creations and forms.In this thesis, the metacognitive style and its adoption in Uyghur novel writing and the features of utilization are studied. The whole thesis is composed of three chapters. In the first chapter the novel, cognitive theory and Uyghur novel writing history are displayed. In the second chapter, the adoption of the styles of cognitive theories and the forms of utilization in Uyghur novel writing are discussed. In the third chapter, the writers who adopted the cognitive styles in their novel writing with the reasons are illustrated.
