Awareness of the Constitution is the core component of the legal consciousness ofcitizens, the sum of the social subject of the Constitution of the phenomenon of cognition,emotion, evaluation and the will. Is an important spiritual force to promote theimplementation of the constitution and the country’s democracy, the rule of law process, isalso an important criterion to measure national achievements of the rule of law to some extentit reflects the views and attitudes of the implementation of a country and its people in theirnational constitutions and the rule of law. Through the collection of information, analysis,and finishing of our Constitution the academic study of awareness of the Constitution is morethan a paper form, there is no monograph, from the future development direction of China’sconstitutional law, constitutional awareness is important content, regardless of the theoreticaland practical level of awareness of the Constitution in-depth study, or a profound analysis ofits function in our constitutional construction, are of great significance.Analysis of the concept of civic awareness of the Constitution on the basis of the maincontent of the civic awareness of the Constitution, the civil rights awareness, awareness ofconstitutional authority, civil law-abiding awareness, sense of civic duty, as well assupervision and awareness of citizens. At present, the status quo of our citizens awareness ofthe Constitution reflects the current situation in the citizens ’understanding of the Constitution,the constitutional concept of the status quo, the status of the citizens’ awareness of their rights,the attitude of the citizens of the social constitution of events on the characteristics of theoverall development of the civic awareness of the Constitution, which are know theconstitution, constitutionalism, and citizen awareness of the Constitution in today’s socialconditions were analyzed using the three angles of the constitution, and thus to explore thechanges in the development of our citizens awareness of the Constitution, and cause theoverall weak reasons, which is the traditional concept of the Constitution the shackles ofconsciousness, the basis of economic and political foundations of awareness of theConstitution negates and distress caused more effects of the operation of the Constitution, as well as the imperfections of the constitutional system itself, which also decided to explore theculture and to enhance citizens’ awareness of the Constitution route, it is necessary to deepeneconomic restructuring, vigorously develop the socialist market economy; but also speed upthe reform of the political system, promoting democracy and political development; need tocultivate a rational multi-cultural, and promote the formation of civil society; but also toimprove the Constitution related integrity of the system, such as unconstitutional censorship,but also to strengthen the constitutional education, improve the quality of the CitizensConstitutional, in order to work together to increase awareness of the Constitution of ourcitizens.
