Democracy is a goal pursued by the modern country. Through the analysis of theChinese-style democratic connotation,the thesis argues that the most central element ofChinese-style democracy is the leadership of the communist party of China, people takeleadership and governing a country by law. In the process of democratization, each countryconstructs different democratic models. This means that the democratization of China has itsown characteristics. Among them, the inner-party democracy model, participatory democracymode and vertical democracy is the main mode of Chinese-style democracy. Democraticconsolidation is multifaceted factors, which is the unity of the goal and process. Democraticconsolidation does not mean complete, it may appear democratic resurgence or backwards.Combined with the actual development of Chinese democracy, the thesis takes politicalsociety, economic society, civil society, state machine and the rule of law as a theoreticalframework to analyze Chinese-style democracy. We recognize the achievements andshortcomings of Chinese democracy, and propose that the accumulation of social capital,building a deliberative democracy, development of electoral democracy is of greatsignificance to the consolidation of democracy in China.
