This article is one of the National Social Science Fund Project results "studyyouth citizenship education practice mode Ethnic Frontier Regions"(12BKS071).China is in a period of socialist modernization and the development of humansociety is the key to modernization modernize, and people realize that the core of themodern development of the modern personality. Personality is a concretemanifestation of the modern citizen personality, is the development of modernsociety citizens should have the personality traits. Xinjiang is one of the multi-ethnic,multi-religious and multicultural area, where is the growing adolescents have theparticular social environment, so as the modernization process also has particularity.In this sense, if to carry out for youths more internalized and deep civic charactereducation, and from the childhood has the good sense of national consciousness,citizenship consciousness, law consciousness and modernity consciousness, whichhas great significance on long-term and leapfrog development of Xinjiang.This research was achieved by linking theory with practice, access to literature,interdisciplinary research and qualitative and quantitative analyzes. Well, however, inthe reality domestic research on national character is in infancy. With this, thespecific regional situation in Xinjiang and the particularity of youths are blank in theNational character research, moreover domestic and foreign hostile forces competewith my teenager is still the ideological field positions complex. Therefore, inscience, a comprehensive analysis of Xinjiang youth civic character educationproblems and causes are based on the realization of the theory and practice to buildthe proper system of civic character educated youth.The research is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction. Primary elaborate the basis and significance ofthe study, research status and ideas, methods and focus of the study, difficulties andinnovations.The second part is about the theory of citizen character education of Xinjiangyouths, its theory origin,meaning and importance. Implementation of modern cultureas a guide to achieve long-term stability of Xinjiang and the overall development ofjuvenile in four aspects clearly elaborates the importance of strengthening thesituation of juvenile civic character education.The third part, by analysis the questionnaires and interviews with professors,analyze the personality of Xinjiang youth civic education achievements andproblems. And from complex educational environment, the educational process andeducational biases object itself three factors, which analyzed the causes ofpersonality problems of youth civic education.The fourth part, is the core of the research. Distinguish from the deepeningeducational content, expanding educational methods and optimization of theeducational environment, above-mentioned three aspects discuss reflections onimproving youth civic character education in Xinjiang.The fifth part is the conclusion. Briefly, Xinjiang youth character educationneeds to be strengthened and be continued to advance it.
