Harmonious Society Perspective Mediation Mechanism

In the transitional society of multiple social contradiction, aplurality of the media means, complicated interests structure, consisting of a plurality of socialcontradictions, and Chinese government in the construction of rule of law is not perfect, nottimely change idea, the innovation of social governance mode of social governance in the old,according to traditional management approach, without setting up pluralistic society the disputeresolution mechanism, traditional methods can not corresponding to the plurality of socialcontradiction, cause social contradiction in China and the confliction. To deal with this situation,the Chinese government in coordination management concept, Western settlement system,introduced the innovation of social governance approach--Grand Mediation Mechanism, bigmediation refers to the judicial administration department of Party and government leaders,business guidance, the mediation center specific operation, functional departments to participatein mediation, the integration of various resources, the social conflict coordination processing. In2003the big mediation mechanism in Jiangsu Nantong after the success of the pilot, thelocalities have established the Grand Mediation Mechanism, in which the typical communitydominant mode, the people’s mediation leading mode and the streets leading mode. Because theidea, principle is not updated, the construction of rule of law is not perfect, the administrativepower, the free expansion. Legal deficiencies, fair, and efficient light, department coordinationand other defects, resulting in around Grand Mediation Mechanism in practical operation reducepure settlement tools, so the big mediation have a deep understanding, and actively throughlegislation, social organizations participate in a variety of ways to improve the big mediationworking mechanism, play mediation due effect.
