Research On The Credibility Of The Government In Public Crisis Management In China

China has entered the "crisis" period，when facing the frequent natural disasters, so manyincidents, traffic accidents, production accidents, food safety crisis, the public becomes sensitive andfragile. Now government behavior directly affects how the public evaluates the government, knownas the credibility of the government. In the public crisis management, the government having a hightrust government is the base for high quality public crisis management, and whether public crisismanagement is good or not reflects level of the credibility of the government. This paper focuses onthe government’s behavior when facing public crisis, and find the relationship between the credibilityof the government public crisis. And the final objective is to raise some advice and suggestion on howto improve the public crisis and enhance the credibility of the government and other issues. I hopethrough the study the government’s public crisis management ability can be enhanced, and it canbecome the theory to support it.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part of this study is to state the paper is on thebackground of crisis period, and the government is facing a severe test, and make sure thepurpose and significance of this study, based on the review of related literature at home andabroad, putting forward research ideas and specific methods with possible innovations. The secondpart is to understand relationship between public crisis and government credibility. The third partwill further deepen the relationship between public crisis and government credibility, based on thetheory and case to analyze this crisis the credibility of the government from theobjective (government) and subjective (public) aspects.In the fourth part, I will make the publiccrisis as the research framework, according to the main reason for the lack of credibility of thegovernment of our country, to put forward the methods to improve the credibility ofour government from the aspects of the government and citizens.
