From the international level, product quality relatesto the reputation of the national product, directly affects the export of products and bein line with the international market, it is essential for the economic lifeblood of thecountry. Currently, the legal system of product quality regulation has been developingwell with the formation of the Chinese characteristics legal system. But there are stillmuch vulnerability."Product Quality Law" legislative in nature is not clear, qualitysupervision and management relations and product responsibility relations arespecified in one law. Product quality standards system is confusing. From theregulatory regime the regulation powers and responsibilities are unclear not efficient.The segments regulatory institution is widely criticized. Visible, how to improve ourproduct quality regulatory system to meet the growing needs and ameliorate ourproducts for enhancing competitiveness in the international market have become thean imminent subject. They have sound regulatory system, regulators clear division oflabor, strict liability system, and a comprehensive product quality certification andinspection systems.In the fourth chapter, the proposals how to improve our product quality legalregulation system are advanced. Firstly, the legislative system should be completed.Secondly, presents an advice to improve specific regulatory regimes. Thirdly,demonstrating the establishment of the product quality of information disclosuremechanism, and fully playing the role of product quality intermediaries.
