Whether from the perspective of the relationship between state and society, or from the perspective of political development. Corporatism is an important paradigm of choice. Within the institutional framework of Corporatism constructed, monopolistic association is crucial intermediary organizations to connect with state and members of society. Monopolistic association have the function of double representation, and they are re-integration and re-arrangements on the basis of social differentiation. Fully understanding and grasping the function and operation of the monopolistic association, can make us effectively mastering the theoretical meaning of Corporatism. And at the same time, speaking for domestic academia, it can provide an entry point for the applicability of Corporatism in China.In this paper, my research object is the state of national and community within the framework of monopolistic association, based on the double representation perspective. In the process of argumentation, I select a large amount of empirical data to demonstrate the social representation and the state role of monopolistic association. This paper argues that monopolistic association has the function of re-group and represent the society, with relatively independent autonomous status in the relationship between state and society, which its hub and intermediary function is achieved by aggregation and conversion allocation of resources.In the overall framework, the paper is divided into five parts:First chapter is introduction. Introduce the origin of topics and research condition; Focus on the study of the outline of Corporatism and monopolistic association which includes their characteristics and different relationship with the country; And describe the paper’s structure, methods and innovations. The second chapter is the community representatives and organizations. This chapter introduces the monopolistic association aggregate the interests of social organizations in a manner of organizational integration; Introduce the monopolistic association become the representation of industry/field, which developing cooperation with each other through negotiation and consultation mechanisms; Further investigate the identity and hierarchical organization of the monopolistic association. The third chapter is system positioning and the relative autonomy. This chapter mainly investigates the function of double representation of monopolistic association and in practice the role of country, as well as how to maintain the groups’ independent status. Chapter IV is about the monopolistic association’ the function of resource center. This chapter introduces the groups how to work as a resource center, mainly through three resource categories, e.g. institutional resources, legitimacy resources and social resources. The final chapter is the conclusion section. The first is a summary of the article. Second, discuss that whether Corporatism is applicable in China.
