Deng Xiaoping’s theory of ideological and political education is established in thedomestic and foreign special historical background, it takes Marx’s instruction, in thefoundation of Ideological and political education from the past experience of graduallyformed, it has formed gradually developmentperiod, in the end, to mature, to form acomplete theoretical system. The convening of the eleven plenary meeting, marking theChina entered thereform and opening up of the spring, with Comrade Deng Xiaoping asthe coreleaders of second generations inherited Mao Zedong Thought aboutIdeological andpolitical education, combines the new practice and newenvironment of ideological andpolitical education, ideological and political education of the status, role, principles andmethods and puts forward a series of new thoughts, new theory, new ideas, formed acomplete theoretical system of ideological and political education, is the ideological andpolitical educationpioneering ideological weapon and scientific guidance. This paper fromthemulti-faceted, multi angle to explore the Deng Xiaoping’s theory of Ideological andpolitical education rich content and contemporary value, and to seek thesystem on the basisof previous studies, from the ideological and political education of Deng Xiaoping’s theoryand its contemporary value, expand own modest contribution to innovation and practice ofideological and politicaleducation of our country in the new historical period.
