Every year, some of our army cadres are slated for transfer to civilian work. This isnot only an important political task, but also a part of professional and technicalpersonnel for the local. In2001our country promulgated "Interim Regulations aboutResettlement of Demobilized army cadres ". After that, two kinds of resettlement modeswere approximately formed, including distribution according to the policy and freechoice of work. However, with the passage of time, the development of economy and theprogress of society, demobilized cadres placement system has many challenges. Thissystem is to help the army cadres have a stable life after transferring to another kind ofjob. It’s quite an event for the construction of our army and our social stability. But whenintegrating into the society again, these cadres have many difficulties. Placement is justone of them. After leaving the army environment, the cadres have to face problems likeindependent integration and social acceptance. Through the literature research,comparative study and questionnaire research, this paper attempts to analyze the status ofhow the demobilized cadres in Zibo city integrate into the society again. This paper alsoexplores many problems. Thanks to the advantages of other methods at domestic andoverseas, the paper puts forward some measures in how to perfect social reintegration ofthe demobilized army cadres. Meanwhile, it also provides some reasonable suggestionsto improve the resettlement of demobilized army cadres in Zibo city.This paper is divided into6parts:he first part is introduction. It introduces the background and significance of thetopic, the status of the domestic and foreign research, the thoughts and methods of thispaper, as well as the definition of some professional words and the historical changes ofour demobilized cadres’ social reintegration.The second part introduces the history and status of the social reintegration ofdemobilized army cadres in Zibo city. The demobilized cadres’ data from2001to2009were used as a baseline for the study. This paper analyzes the situation of the cadres’social reintegration in many ways, such as their number, their life situation, their spouses’ work, and their family finances, etc.The third part introduces the main forms of domestic and foreign socialreintegration of demobilized officers and the enlightenment it can give to the dilemmasof social reintegration in Zibo city.The fourth part discusses the problems of demobilized cadres’ social reintegration inZibo city and their reasons. Through the analysis of the current situation of reintegrationthere are some problems as follows: first, psychological imbalance of demobilized cadres;second, influence by the traditional concept of career; third, demobilized cadres’weakness in Entrepreneurship in; fourth, excessive centralized planned resettlement. Thereasons mainly contain: first, the change of the employment system and the upgrading ofthe industrial structure lead to a decline in government resettlement resources and in thecompetence of demobilized cadres; second, the improvement of living dilutesdemobilized cadres’ treatment; third, the training system is quite out of tide; fourth, self-employment policy is not perfect.The fifth part puts forward suggestions on how to improve the social reintegrationproblems of demobilized cadres in Zibo city. First, perfect the social security system;Second, strengthen the training system of demobilized cadres; third, improve preferentialemployment policies; fourth, give corresponding psychological training to demobilizedcadres; fifth, adapt themselves to the new environment.The last part is the conclusion.
