| In recent years,social mentality is becoming one of the public hot topics, which is not only often seen in all kinds of media,but also becoming a hotspot in academia research field.The new-generation migrant workers is a social group with Chinese characteristics.They play an important role in China’s economic construction and social development process,so the status of their social mentality impact on building the harmonious society directly.However,the social transformation brought about series of problems,such as social management system lags behind,social distribution is unfair,changes in the value of the evaluation criteria and the diversification pattern of interests are affecting social mentality of the new-generation migrant workers.A survey shows that main social mentality of the new-generation migrant workers is still positive,such as the independent and progressive mentality,open and tolerant mentality.At the same time,the negative social mentality,such as lonely,rebellious,self-esteem and other negative social mentality,has become increasingly prominent trend. Positive social mentality promotes the construction of harmonious society,but negative social mentality hinders the development of society.Therefore,we can research social mentality problem on the view of the new-generation migrant workers,which is based on the new-generation migrant workers’ societal status and role,and find out the unfavorable factors,which lead to unhealthy social mentality,by the analysis of various social phenomenon.All of those provide a rational basis for fostering positive social mentality.The cultivation of the new-generation migrant workers’ mentality is a difficult and long-term task. On the one hand,the government should strengthen the system construction, protect their legitimate rights and interests,establish a sound mechanism for labor relations to work decently and increase the intensity to train the new-generation migrant workers in order to meet the needs of urban development better.Business managers and citizens should respect and concern the new-generation migrant workers.On the other hand,new-generation migrant workers should review themselves objectively,strengthen self-learning ability and enhance their overall quality.Finally,the new-generation migrant workers formed calm and rational society mentality,open and inclusive society mentality,and aggressive society mentality. |
