The Ban Of Song Dynasty On Information Dissemination

Ban is the clause about the common implement with the proclaimed inwriting code at that time of eatablished-bans and set up bans, which published by thefeudal rulers according to the certain historical conditions and based on the maintenanceof their own interests. Althouth it was not occurred according to formal and stable legalform, it had the same legal influence with the formal laws. So far the academic sectormainly concentrate on the discussion and research of the formal written laws, whilenearly ignore the research of this special regulation forms. This thesis will analyse anddiscuss the information transmission mode of Song Dynasty based on the angle of banfrom five parts, aimed to do some analysis and reduction of the Song Dynasty society.The introduction part mainly describ our ancestors’ research achievement andtrends in this field, explain and study the theoretical foundation together with therelative meanings at the same time. The first charpter mainly define the concept of ban,introduce and describe the information transmission before Song Dynasty. The secondcharpter, Reasons of the Song Goveronment Publish Information Transmisson Bans,will do a deep analysis and trace the sourse of the frequent bans of Song Dynasty. Thethird charpter The Military and Astronomy Information Transmission Bans of SongDynasty, the forth charpter Tabloid Rumours Transmission Bans of Song Dynasty andthe fifth charpter The Other Transmission bans will classify the reasons, methods,influence and valuation of publishing the bans of Song Dynasty. The last part of thisthesis is epilogue, which will have an overall summary of the thesis and evaluate all thebans mentioned in this thesis.
