The Research Of Paths On Enhancing Goverments’ Ability Of Rumour Goverance

Now China is in an unprecedented period of social transition.Withthe frequent social rapid development and progress, more and more socialproblems have sprung up. Social rumors are often spread because of thesesocial problems, easlily leading to social contradictions,in turn,triggerring a variety of crisis events.Social rumours and social issuesinfluence each other, both offen tend to cause social panic,and terriblydisrupt the normal order of the society. Considering to the terriblesituation, the government needs to enhance the ability of dealing withrumors.This paper will read the social connotation reflected by rumors，assess the effect of rumors， in political science, communication,journalism, psychology, management,sociology,etc. then,it will explorethe government countermeasures，in order to resolve negative effects ofrumors in the society. In this paper, the structure of the arrangement is asfollows:First part of all, the article will probe into the influence of therumors about government governance problems. In this paper, from thefour aspects of the social capital including trust，authority， participationnetwork and standard, it will discuss the influence of rumours ingovernment governance (especially negative effects).Secondly, the article will do the corresponding analysis,from thefour aspects of social impact, in order to explore the mechanism on theinfluence of rumours.Finally, on the basis of studying the former two parts, the articlewill discuss the countermeasures of the rumor governance by governmentIn view of the present social rumour problems, The governmentsneed to restore social trust，strengthen the government authority,strengthenthe standard supply, improve and expand network participatation,thusenhancing the ability of rumor governance by the governments.
