An Exploration On CPC Guarding Against Spiritual Slack Risk

Communist Party of China has been founded for90years during which CPC struggles for prevention against spiritual slack risk. The prevention of spiritual slack risk is the inherent demand to keep its purity and to promote advanced construction. In view of this, based on the related theories of Marx, Lenin and the previous party leaders, spiritual slack risk is described and researches are constructed respectively on the doubt from some Party comrades in the1920s concerning "how long can the red flag stand", the negative emotion in Twentieth Century in the late1940s that posed as heroism pride, the risk of isolating from the people in the1950s, the shaken tendency of ideal and faith in the early1980s and1990s, such as the content, major causes and how to prevent it. A summary of useful experience is presented as well. To sum up, the experience mainly includes:attention to the ideological education of Party members and cadre, firm belief of communism, Party leadership defence in socialist cause, implementation of in-depth and meticulous ideological and political education; to regard firm tenacious as fine tradition of the party through inheriting the ideological line of seeking truth from facts, developing perseverance and the fighting spirit, and taking in criticism and self criticism; to maintain the interests of the masses through the extremely strict discipline, and unite people with the common goal of the revolution, while strengthen the aim consciousness of the party by ruling crisis consciousness and close consolidation between the party and the masses of the people. Among the experience, some explorations are concluded: the first one is to provide warranty against spiritual slack risk by strengthening theoretical study to establish a firm belief in Marxism, enhancing party members’senses of responsibility by giving full play to their own capability, and establishing their senses of hardship consciousness with the objective achievement; the second one is to enhance the organisation "sense of belonging" and positive incentive measures, such as overcoming "the ruling inertia" by "diligent"; the third one is to enforce "Rule Yong and Punish lazy" Policy and strengthen the accountability of negative incentive measures; the fourth one is to use the network supervision of public opinion to restrict power, to use the supervision of inner-party to prevent the abuse of power, and to take supervision of the masses to avoid the corruption of power as external guarantee.
