Study Of The Interrelation Between Humane Care And Psychological Counseling In The Ideological And Political Education

The report of the17th national congress of CPC put forward:"to enhance and improve ideological and political work, attach more importance to humane care and psychological counseling, and to deal with interpersonal relations in correct ways.’ Five years later, the report of the18th national congress of CPC again indicated:"to enhance and improve ideological and political work, attach more importance to humane care and psychological counseling." The introduction of humane care and psychological counseling to ideological and political education reflects that our Party has a new understanding of further perfecting the ideological and political work in the new era and in the new phase. Ideological and political education’s emphasis on humane care and psychological counseling enriches and develops ideological and political education theory of Marxism on the one hand, and on the other hand, it provides a new thought for our Party’s ideological and political work, and becomes the focus of the innovation of future’s ideological and political work.Humane care is the value orientation of the modern ideological and political education, mainly implying material care, emotional and psychological care, ultimate care, and exerting protecting function, developing function and perfecting function; psychological counseling is an innovative way of ideological and political education, mainly including cultivating healthy mind, eliminating psychological obstructions and comforting emotions and feelings, and exerting harmonious function, educational function and interfering function. The interrelation between humane care and psychological counseling in ideological and political education shows in this way that humane care governs psychological counseling, building up the value orientation of "the people-based" of psychological counseling, setting the goal directness of "helping others is helping yourself" of psychological counseling; psychological counseling underlines humane care, shows the inner requirements of humane care, and it is an effective way to realize humane care. At the same time, in ideological and political education, humane care and psychological counseling have the uniformity of values. In the respect of theory supports, both of them are on the basis of Marxism’s theories concerning full development of human beings, taking scientific system of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as action guidance; in the process of practicing, both stick to the five practice principles, namely, satisfying human’s inner needs, respecting human’s dominant position, acknowledging human’s individual differences, considering the whole and also covering individuals, combining dominant and recession; in the pursuit of values, both of them take strengthening the harmony of body and mind, perfecting human’s essential attributes, achieving human’s full development as their final goal.Deeper digging of the inner compatibility and value uniformity of humane care and psychological counseling is the premise of effectively practicing humane care and psychological counseling, and also is the security of enhancing the attractiveness, appeal and influence of Ideological and Political Education.
