County-level Research On The Development Of The Villagers’ Autonomy System In Anji County, Zhejiang Province

China is traditionally a nation with long agricultural history. The development andvicissitudes of its agriculture are closely related to the stability and prosperity of the nation.During the past three decades, the institution of Villagers’ Autonomy has achievedremarkable success, which exerts profound significance over the economic developmentand all-round progress of the society. Nevertheless, the Villagers’ Autonomy is facingsome difficulties and problems, bringing a lot of controversy.It have severely restricted itsfurther development and the construction of socialist democracy at the grassroots level. Sohow to solve the problem, and promote the sustained and in-depth development of villagerautonomy, not only in the rural grass-roots work urgently needs to study and solve majorissue, and it is the core of the socialist construction.The paper according to the current situation, researches on the development status ofVillagers’ Autonomy in Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Analysis of the development ofthe villagers’ autonomy through the data in Anji, and advances some countermeasures forthe healthy development of villagers’ autonomy in China.The paper is divided into five parts. Part I Mainly elaborating the background andsignificance, the theoretical foundation and the status of the domestic and foreign researchon villagers’ autonomy. Part II explains the basic theory of villager autonomy in detail,clarifies the basic concept of villagers’ autonomy, organization structure and the maincontent. Part III analyzes the history and status of villagers’ autonomy, mainly analyzes thefour stages of development of villagers’ autonomy in our country, the main achievementsand problems. Part IV researches and analyzes the development of the Villagers’Autonomy in Anji County. Mostly researches the Anji County, the overview of thedevelopment of the Villagers’ Autonomy in Anji County, research briefings, and analyzesthe survey data in detail. Part V puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of thehealthy development of China’s Villagers’ Autonomy System, from developing the ruralEconomy, constructing the rural political culture, straighten up the two relationships,improving the system of village affairs and cultivating reserve cadres.
